Before getting started: Your device must support Bluetooth 4.0
The Oura App is supported on iOS devices running iOS 15 and higher, or Android devices running Android 8.0 and higher with Google Play services.
Tips for successfully setting up accounts with Oura for Business Memberships:
- The ring must remain on the charger for the entire duration of pairing and account setup
- Confirm the phone's Bluetooth is enabled and ready to pair
Setting up your Oura Ring
- Unbox the ring and charger
- Plug the charger into a USB power source and place the ring on the charger. If you are using a Gen3 charger, the LED will blink blue in indicate that your ring is ready to be paired
- Make sure the phone has a stable internet connection and the phone's Bluetooth is enabled
- Download the Oura App from the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android)
- Open the Oura App and tap Start
- Enter an email to create your Oura account and tap Continue. This email will be used as the account login across all of Oura's services
- Select "Set up ring" to pair the ring to the new account. Confirm the correct ring has been paired to the new account
- Follow the in-app instructions to verify the account email address to complete setup
- Once the email has been verified, the user will need to create a password
- The user should see their prepaid Membership has been successfully applied. If the user is prompted to enter payment information, see troubleshooting steps here
- Return to the Oura App and log in with the account email and password
- Confirm the correct ring to pair and allow the ring a few minutes to pair to the app. Continue to follow in-app instructions to complete setting up the account
