Set Up an Oura Ring - iOS

Step-by-Step Process

1. Open the Oura App and Select Start
   
   
   
2. Enter your Email Address and Select Continue
   
   
   
3. Review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
   1. Grant permissions to opt in or out to: "Receive exclusive health education, tips, and special offers to get the most out of your Oura experience.
      
      
      
4. Connect your Oura Ring to the charger
   1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
      
      
5. Select Set Up Ring 
   1. Pair your ring to Bluetooth when prompted by the Oura App
      
   2. Wait for the app to progress to the next step
      
      
6. Select Send Set Up Email
   1. Enter your email and click Continue
      
      
      
7. Navigate to the Mail App or your Email Provider App on your phone to locate the "Continue your Oura Ring & Membership Set Up" email from Oura.
   
   
   1. Check your spam folder if unable to locate the email
      
      
8. Press the Setup Your Account button in the email, and you will be taken to your device's web browser to set up your membership
   1. Once you have completed the Membership Setup, click Return to the Oura App.
      
      
      
9. Enable Face ID by selecting the Enable button. Proceed to Step 11.
   
   
10. Or select No Thanks to proceed with using the one-time passcode option
    
    1. If you select No Thanks, select Continue, and press the Send Code button.
    2. Locate the one-time passcode email from Oura within your Mail App. Copy it.
    3. Paste the passcode into the Oura App, and select Submit Code.
       
       
       
11. Update your Oura Ring's firmware
    
    
    
12. Press begin to sync your data
    
    
    
13. Choose which country you reside in and enter your personal information
    1. Note: You can edit these details under My Profile within the Oura App
       
       1. Date of birth
          
       2. Weight
       3. Height
       4. Sex assigned at birth
       5. Units
          
          
14. Select Done to complete the setup
    
    
15. You will be given the option to connect your Oura Ring to Apple Health
    1. This allows you to sync data between Oura and other health and activity apps. You can also enable this later under Settings within the Oura App.
       
       
       
16. You will be asked a series of questions on:
    1. Your focus area
    2. Sleep habits
    3. Common activities
       
       
17. Select Continue and Start Journey
